I think you and I have the same boat. I'm curious about adding on the Turndowns on my exhaust. What do you think about them? Did you install them yourself?

It appears we do have the same boat.

I think the turndowns are worth it, if you can get them cheap. I picked them up from another member. I'm pretty sure you could go straight to the mfg and get them for way less than Malibu sells them for.

It did help cut down on the noise and exhaust odor, marginally.

I got them because we are/were surfing a lot.

I did install them myself. I will say, if you decide to install them yourself, there are clamps holding the flappers inside the boat. By the transom. It seems obvious now, but I had so much trouble getting the old flappers off until I realized this.

I don't have any pics handy. I'll try to get some this weekend
