Looking at having Illusion tower installed...Want bimini with extension (big as possible). Where should I get my bimini (Metcraft or towerbimini)?? Need pics of large towerbimini tops to look at.

I am not sure what kind mine is but it has a huge extended section and sure is nice with the little ones on board.

Mine is the same as the picture. It is a Metcraft product and I got it through my dealer when I ordered the boat. I have the xti and it helps to cover the deck and some of the rear facing back seat some of the time. I have 3 little kids so I wanted as much coverage as possible. I saw an add in wakeboard magazine for towerbiminis and they showed an illusion X tower that had what looked like a larger-than-normal bimini that was all one piece and not zippered together. I'd at least check them out and see what the dimensions are. The downside IMO to the one that I have is that it is not stowable in the boot and doesn't tuck away against the tower. If I recall correctly the towerbimini one has a bent rear bow that allows it to stow better, but I could be wrong.

We're shopping for a bimini and requested a quote from towerbimini.com two days ago. So far, we and haven't back from them. Their web page states bimini's start out at $735. has anyone had experience with them?

What does a bimini cost from the dealer?

Sabre

I am pretty sure it came from the dealer. I bought my boat from a gentleman in Florida and when I talked with the dealer he purchased it from, they talked about the extended bimini he bought being a nice upgrade. So I would assume it is a Metcraft?

another shot.

Jessem, Where'd you get it? I really need a larger one and would like some information on it.

Thanks

You can get it from your dealer. I got one but have not tried it yet.
