Ideas for selling a 2007 Malibu

Recommended Posts

I know the first question...so the answer is I would rather not be selling. However, seeking advice for the best boat selling websites (other than MalibuCrew of course - see my post in for sale forum). Any thoughts on the best sites to sell a Malibu?

Thanks

www.boattraderonline.com

Bought mine there - that is probably the #1 site

Could also post on wakeworld - but boat trader is a must do

When I sold my Nautique, it sold from onlyinboards but I got the most hits from ski-it-again. Of course if you are selling a wakeboard boat, it might not do as well on there.

In addition to the others listed, usedboats.com.

I've gotten about an equal number of hits from boattrader & usedboats for my older I/O.

Same sites as others have mentioned. Boattrader is where I go the most.

But beyond web sites, TIMING is paramount to selling a boat IMO. I'd list it now and not wait. I sold my previous boat about this time last year in a week. But my brother had a similar boat as mine that he tried to sell late in the summer and it never sold until this spring. Just my thoughts.

Best of luck.

You could try to go down to your local dealer and see if they will help you sell it. If they do the work, they will probably take a commission. They may just let you put up a flyer in case someone comes in looking for a used boat that they don't have and matches your boat.
