Is there a place where you can buy a trailer alot less that the 5K-6K that the dealer is seeling them for. I need a 22' Galvanized double axle trailer. Any ideas? $5000-6000 seems pretty high to me!

That's a good question. My dealer uses an Indiana company named Trailmaster. I only have a single axle, but it's just painted. Galvanized is available. It was just over $3000. I don't remember the 2nd axle being all that expensive an option. I think if you wanted to add all the bells and whistles, you could get it up into that $5-6k range though. If I were trailering farther than a couple of miles, I would have gotten the double axle, but I didn't really need it.

Boatmate would not be that far from you. My dealer got my trailer from there. He charged me $2750 for a T/A with 4 wheel disc brakes and a fold away tongue. He told me that was his cost. It is a painted trailer though. Max load of the trailer is 6900 lbs., way overkill for my boat but I wanted T/A's because of the distance I travel with it, and 45 years of trailerboating taught me you can never have too much trailer.

You started trailering when you were 2? Wow.
