Hi,

We took delivery last Wednesday, had our in water testing with temperature at a balmy 70 degrees. Next day we had our new boat in Prior Lake air temp was 72 degrees water temp 54 degrees brrr...We are now working on breaking in the motor..here are a few pictures of the ride. I hope I linked them correctly. The only thing we are waiting for is our new tandem extreme trailer. We took delivery on the single axel dorsey because or tandem was not ready.

Nice, what color is on your hull and deck, is it moonbeam? I am waiting to take delivery of mine, should be here by the end of May (spray date 5/3). I got the moonbeam hull and deck with the dark blue on bottom and black on top for the sides, nothing above the rubrail.

Congrats on the new ride! Next time you are in MN Inboards say hello to Ross for me. He is a great guy to work with. The service department is also very good!

V-Ridin,

Would you mind taking a measurement of the stickers on the side and back of your boat for me if you have a chance? I am having a custom sticker made for mine (not too fond of the 07 "RIDE" sticker) and would like to know the height and width of the ones that are on there. I'm going to try and do a design similar to the grunge graphics offered on the other malibu models that we can't get on the Rides. Thanks in advance.

woooohhh...kinda freaky...

V-Ride,

Check out my gallery. I have almost the exact same boat, with the colors flip-flopped just a bit. I am also waiting on my TA trailer.

Jay,

You might want to consider the '04/'05 WakeSetter graphics. I am waiting on those to get to the dealer as I am not fond of the Ride graphics either. Condisering the V-Ride is the same boat as an '04 VLX, the graphics should be perfect.

Jim,

I do like the 04 Wakesetter graphics and have considered that. They are about $200 I think from my dealer. My cousin custom designs graphics for trucks and boats and is doing up a design this week for me. He just got a brand new digital printer that can print anything on a sticker. I am thinking something like the grunge graphics that you can get on the VLX or just inverting the stock sticker, so the sticker is just the word V RIDE with none of that crap around it.

The reason I'm not going with the Wakesetter graphics is because it has the W on it and I want to keep the V RIDE name on the boat. I also like the look of the grunge graphics. The tribal has been kinda played out by Malibu over the last few years. I'll post up the design as soon as he emails it to me and if anyone else is interested in it, I can give you his info or see if he'd be willing to make more and ship them.

Jim, if you have easy access to your boat, would you mind measuring those stickers for me? Also, the small one on the back too, I forgot to mention that before.

Great looking rig Thumbup.gif The colors are perfect. Now that you've used the Dorsey you'll probably end up wanting it back compared to the Tandem Extreme. The Dorseys tow way better when loaded heavy and last longer. Put them side-by-side and check out the construction.

Sending you a PM as well, but the side deals are around 82" x 11", and the rear is around 41" x 6"
