Anyone use or seen HID lights used for a tower? Are they better... or should I say are they worth a couple hundred dollars more? Can you actually see when driving at night or are they really just good for parking?

I've got a set of HID tower lights and they are incredibly bright and they don't blind the driver. I got my set from LPA tower Accessories (link). PM Pat McCrotch, he is the owner/operator of company for more info.

WAKECRASHIN,

If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 707-688-8548. I will answer all your questions on the HID lights. I tried mine cruising after dark this past weekend on berryessa and that is a real dark lake. I thought I was driving a car. Good thing with these is they are adjustable up and down so you get a better view than just it hitting the water. The true light also doesnt get absorbed or reflect like halogen. Same concept as cars on the road.
