If you've seen the new Liquid Force DVD The Truth - go to the BONUS section and look at 'juju'.

Anyone know the story about the Malibu? 3 feet underwater - ugh.

well i just watched that and it was very odd. i mean it was completly underwater and they just pulled it out and bailed the water out of it. some things still worked, because i noticed that they were using the bilge pump on the boat. but as they said in the film "malibu defently builds a strong boat" Biggrin.gif

I happened to be sitting next to Tiny Finn when he got the call.

They were towing the malibu behind the houseboat, there was spray going into the malibu, nobody realized (Partying might have been involded here), they sunk it.

They drew straws for who had to make the phone call, it was Necrassen

That's what I figured. Powell is notorious for that. A few swells act up, take one or two over the bow and your inboard is swimming...

In the DVD Bonifay says, 'Man, it was 3 feet underwater. I mean THE TOWER was three feet underwater!' Kind of funny.

Wonder if they were able to get it running? I mean, if they were towing it, it wasn't running at the time.

Do you know Zach?

What's funny is the 'juju' part.

How just the day before they were warned by a Park Ranger, under the Rainbow Bridge, how they were walking in a tribal burial ground and that they were bringing bad luck or 'juju' upon themselves.

- Apparently they had wandered off the beaten path too close to the actual bridge itself.

In the DVD, you see the above happenings, the ranger telling them, and all the boarders going, 'uh, sorry for intruding man...' And then words scroll across the screen that say, 'And the very next day...' and it is a scrambling video camera that runs through the houseboat to look over the edge to see the Bu completely underwater.

Bad juju.
