Need Opinion---Trailer on New Boat

The dealership called today and said for some reason our new 07 boat is on a 2005 Single Axel Extreme trailer. I am not too concerned about the trailer b/c it's new. For a consumer standpoint I have two options the dealership offered $400 in credit or a new trailer....I am wondering about the depreciation of trailers I guess new they cost 3500...what do you guys think?

TIA

I would always go with a dual axle trailer if it were me, but how ever If you don't need the trailer because some people are on a private lake then take the $400. It has always been my experience to have a dual axle just to make it easier on the trailer and the vehicle towing.
