Homemade Skimboard...

Recommended Posts

1FootDan

Decided I would make my 1yo son a skim board. I laminated the panels together giving it 1 1/2 inch of rocker over 14 inches. Now it is time to cut it out. Does anyone own a skimboard and could give me the lenght and width please? :)

You talkin' to me? Dontknow.gif

I'm not selling one, he wanted some measurements and I have one of these to give him the numbers off of. My Grandson would have a Hissy if I sold this one.

I made one for my daughter. Works great off the platform and in shallow water being pulled by hand. Mine is a bit heavy and has a tendency to ride low if you don't keep the tow rope up high. The rocker might help. I built mine using the old eyeball meter so that might also take away from performance.
