Wake Camps

Looking for feedback specifically for my 12 year old son. One the west coast. I found West Coast Wakboard Camp. He is pretty inexperienced. He can get up, ride for a few.... gets frusterated and tired after a few attempts. Want to find a fun, exciting place for him to go this summer with others his age, skill level, etc to build his confidence and learn to enjoy himself and the sport more. Any feedback or suggestions on camps in, around, or accessable from the bay area?

Thanks Crew Thumbup.gif

I can not speak for the camp, but Mike Schwenne from West Coast Camps is one great instructor when it comes to working with kids. We had him out on my boat for a private session last year and in one day he worked wonders with my 11 year old boy. I hope that my son will find the want to attend one of Mike's camps in the future.

I second Delta Wakeboard Camp. I spoke to Tim last week, and they are very accommodating. You can go there for single private lessons all the way up to week long stays in their houseboat.

My son went to West Coast Camps last year and had a great time. Mike Schwenne and his group are great to work with and my son came away with new freinds, new tricks, and lots of fun stories to tell.
