I have a 98 sportster LX with a vortec 350 in it. I want to swap out the plugs but have no idea what part number they are and what not. Also, can you buy them at an autoparts store like Advanced Auto? Thanks everyone Thumbup.gif

AC MR43T plugs should fit. You can get at any good auto parts store. The counter person can also help is you tell him year / GM350 small block. Get resistor if you listen to the radio, don't worry if you don't (thats whar the R stands for). Gap to .035"

I was wondering about the gap. I just replaced my plugs, and the gap as specified in the Indmar manual is .045"...the Clymer Indmar service manual says .035", though. I gapped mine to .045" (they were pretty much set that way out of the box.

Which is correct?

BTW, my local NAPA store had the AC Delco MR43LTS for $1.99 each.

The owners manual for either my engine or boat had the wrong gap listed in it. I called the factory to verify and they said it was a misprint. If you are not sure, double check!

My manual specifies the LTS designation rather than just the T. This may be something for you guys to consider when you're searching out the proper plug/cross reference. When you cross reference to NGK, for instance, you get two different plugs depending on designation. FYI

Hey I know this post is old but can anyone help me identify if I need the AC Mr43t or MR43LTS? I have a 99 response I just bought with a 5.7 throttle body EFI. Manual says it’s the Mr43t but the ones I took out were the champion equivalent of LTS.
