Strainer and hose adapter mod.

I thought I would share our water intake mods.

Yes, the water is strained after the v-drive but this is better than nothing. We also installed a round screen in the intake thru-hull fittings for the ballast pumps. We just replaced the front drain plug on the v-drive with that right angle hose adapter and there is a quick connector on top.

Or this...no strainer but similar concept
