biggest problems areas

A blade on my prop broke off without hitting anything and the vibration busted open the HDS on my '98 Sunsetter back at 450 hours (2002). They fixed the HDS problem on the first try.

Just curious as to what problems most people have had? I have had a 2000 SS LXI since it was new and just ordered a new 23 XTI WS. My 2000 had a couple of electrical issues (bad crimps), just curious what others had run into.

My kill switch! Most of the time I have no problems with her and out of the blue she gets mean....(I say "her" and "she", because it reminds me of some females I have encountered....just teasing ) I can crank away and it just doesn't start and then I remember.... spend time with the kill switch and you can have fun for a while longer....again much like a female!

The carpet has been a disapointment in my boat. It mats down way to easily and looks worn out

Fuel tank must have a leak, seems to drain awful fast. I've searched high and low to no avail, nor do I smell fuel in the bilge.

Funny, we have that problem too.

It's a toss up between shoddy wiring done by the stereo guy (specifically the towerlights, which ironically enough were the PITA in the SAN as well.) OR the super great Sureflo Piranha pumps that Malibu picked for the MLS system. Needless to say by the end of the summer both will be overhauled. (Starting with rewiring the tower lights.)
