4th Gen Ram 2500 Tow Mirrors

I hate the tow mirrors on the 4th gen Ram 2500, they are way too magnified. I order mirrors from Suma Performance, in which I waited 8 weeks to get the mirrors. I ordered the clear ones but received mirrors that were tinted and had anti-glare, this was not advertised. They have a horrible return policy. The tinted and anti-glare make it hard to see details and make backing into a garage that is dark hard to see anything.

Does anyone know of another place to buy glass that isn't so magnified that are actually clear mirrors?

Too magnified?  You got a link to what you have? I run Trail Ridge (aftermarket) 4th gen mirrors on my 1500.  Originally you couldn't get a tow mirror in power fold on the 1500, but the 2500/3500 mirrors are exactly the same.  SO maybe they will have what you want.

FWIW - they do sell glass only

Interesting.  I have to admit that I really like the old style Ram tow mirrors.  They stick out plenty far but don't obscure your view.  They must have gotten enough feedback to want to mimic the chevy ones though.

And you could probably bolt the newer generation onto the older generation trucks. You just have to have the switches for all the features

Anyone want to guess what a new mirror cost anyone want to guess what a new mirror cost

Ouch.  Factory replacement - I'm gonna go with $1100 since that is about what I had to spend for one on a lexus

Huh.  A pair of new OEM towing mirrors for my F-150 was about $675.  Took about five minutes per side to install them.  They have more lights and giblets than my harness has wires for.
