CWB Ride Surf Board?

Not intended to be another "which surfboard" is BEST thread. Just been looking at CWB Ride series...seems to be a decent beginner-intermediate board...*and* wakeside.com has the 5.3 for $299. Pretty much staying away from Hyperlite. May look into LF as well...maybe the 5.0 Venture?

We have a couple year old CWB Ride and it's been fine as a beginner board. It's pretty big and floaty, not real fast, but very stable. Don't know about the 5.3 model but we picked our board up for a lot less than that at the end of a season.

We have the CWB Ride as well. A good board for the whole family, fun to ride and I would recommend it for general surfing. Now I need a smaller/faster board to start spinning.

I have been on the Ride many times and agree with the above. It is a good stable board appropriate for beginners and general use.
