Bypass heater core??

2007 Malibu Sunscape 21LSV....heater core under the captains helm must have cracked during a hard freeze in December.  Is there a way to bypass the heater core while it is removed and still operate the boat?   Might be a while before I have time to fix/replace core but I'd like enjoy my boat in the meantime!

Any suggestions or advice is much appreciated!

I forget the heater hose size but you just need two hose clamps and a male-male connecter.  Pull the hoses off the heater core and connect them together with a male-male connector and secure with hose clamps.  The heater core is a tiny radiator.  It slides out of the housing that contains the blower motor and you can buy just the core from Bakes or other suppliers for about a hundred bucks, or a radiator shop can probably repair the one you have if it's not blown into a million pieces.

Note they make several size cores so make sure you get the right one (some heater boxes have 3 vent hoses, vs 2 vent hoses, etc and therefore the core is longer in some installations).

Thanks guys!  Does anyone have a clue as to what diameter male-to-male connector to use??   Our local hardware stores are Lowe's and Harbor Freight....figured i would just grab a variety of sizes to take along and then return which ever is not used.   I'm trying to make this as "smooth" as possible because the boat is at the marina in a slip...and its a 25min drive to the marina.  So, I try to minimize "guess-work" and numerous round trips!
