1997 Corvette Boat Trim Plate

Recommended Posts

I purchased a 1997 Corvette boat this fall but didnt get a chance to use it much this last fall. When going through it I noticed that the trim plate only moves a maximum of about 1/2" total. Anyone know how much it should move?  Tx

@Gustov - The Gen 1 Corvette boat (gen 1 is the '90's version off the Response hull) has a trim plate at the transom that basically tunes the hook in the hull.  I will make the assumption here that you are describing that item (it should be stainless steel and under the transom), It does not move much so you are probably fine, I suggest you call Malibu and ask the engineering manager as Dennis has been there through that time span.  A small move does make a big difference.  Congrats on your toy, those are cool vessels, what color is yours?
