Carb ID Help

Recommended Posts

Hi all, new to the site. Picked up a 1993 Echelon. Owner said he had a crate engine dropped in 10 years ago. It appears to be a 91-95 Mercury 350 MAG. I'm trying to identify the carburetor that is currently on the boat. I can't find any other identifiers other than the following:   It is stamped with 8867 and magneti marelli   but I don't see any other #'s or identifiers.  When I search 8867 it brings me to Edelbrock. Can anyone give me any background info on this carburetor.

I am inclined to go with the 1409 as a replacement as suggested, but was also wondering if anyone can help identify what I currently have, as I described above..

Jheeeeze, Google Drive photos... any hosting site but that one will allow you to embed photos here.

All the "W"s on that carb sure make you think Weber.  The Magneti Marelli label kind of seals the deal.  Probably worth looking around the sides of the air horn for numbers as well.
