Double-boat surf/foil awesomeness

So i finally was able to try the 2-boats-in-formation trick to make an uber-wave between them.  Way harder than i thought to line up the boats right, but when it finally happened it was super cool and satisfying. 

Below is me briefly quasi-surfing between my A24 and my buddies MC X24.  Second one is my buddy on a foil treating the two waves like a half-pipe going back and forth (courtesy of my superior driving skills of course).  #winning

I love it! Back in the day if yall had set that up for me I would come between the two boats on my superjet and that wave would be an instant back flip!

update / pro tip that given lack of responses to original post may interest no-one but me...  

Been doing this 'bowl' thing with 2 boats a number of times this year and the trick we discovered (but maybe everyone else already knew) is to have 1 boat do cruise control but the 2nd boat just feather the throttle by sight/feel and its not that hard to keep pace.  (last year we would try using both on cruise control and matching speeds & launches was difficult and made it hard to catch up/drop back - and further complicated by me using paddlewheel and buddy using GPS).

also, the 2nd boat doesn't have to be a surf boat - i actually made one half of a bowl today with my 16ft boston whaler (trim engine a little and people on foils could glide over to me and get a nice push back to the surf-boat monster wave).

Nice, I think this helps justify His/hers boats and tow vehicles.
