‘18 Axis engine/storage wall guide track problem

Recommended Posts

The lower guide that holds the walls in place between my additional ballast and engine had the screws pop out when the tank was full, port side.  The screws are machine threaded and seems the nut side is stripped in multiple locations.  There are additional holes in the guide next to each machine screw.  Can I just run 1/2” sheet metal screws in to hold it in the other holes?  Need this in place or I can’t fill the ballast without the wall being pushed into the engine.

We replaced ours with the rails that go to anvil cases for sound equipment. Aluminum U rails. We also reinforced the engine walls with rails.
