T220: Anyone know what size trash can liner or bag

Recommended Posts

I'm interested as well. I was able to stash 300 lbs of lead very close to that area and around the can and the can still fits so I was thinking the same.

The can seems too small for any real trash.  We looked for liners then decided to make it our lotion storage. I also have 200lbs of lead all around it.

No shortage of open storage areas on this boat but wish there was more segregation in the areas as nothing seems to stay where you put it.  I did get some bath mats for under the seats which helped but over the floor you have a small glove box, trash bin or weirdly shaped plastic bin with cup holder by driver and that's it.

that can is a joke, how about a trash chute cupholder, does the 220 have a coffin side holder, i had a double holder snd converted one to a trash chute using stretch trash bags , best $50 bucks i ever spent besides the ypipe for same money got heat at idle on my Axis

Fits snugly on the trash can? Might actually use it rather than put weight in the hole

We use Kroger bags. Fits about perfect and we always have plenty sitting around waiting for someone to recycle them.

Anyone have issues with the trash can being too tall? Just got my girl and after filling the ballast, the can will not sit deep enough for the lid to close.

It's the center ballast pushing up on the can when it's full.  It's a known issue but most people don't really care too much about it, from what I can tell.

boat with listed cabin and bow crew is 95% of my ri230 wave with no crew and lead, who cares about that trash can i saw pushing up, the surf was killer listed and a ton of fun

the wave did need a minimum of 12 ft depth and was terribly adverse affected at 10 and 11

We used some of these storage cubes to give some compartmentalization to the storage area.  They work pretty good for ropes, and smaller items.

Are you guys putting lawn trimmings or leaves in the can?  I'm confused about the "not big enough for real trash" comments.  How much trash are you generating?

Plastic grocery bags seem like plenty for us.  Throw a few extras in the bottom of the can.

When you have 5 or 6 teenage boy on your boat for a day there is a lot of water, gatorade and food consumed and therefore a lot of garbage.  Usually at least one kitchen size garbage bag full.
