A22 2022 - Power Wedge sensor - normal to show 2.5

Recommended Posts

Hi - been playing around a bit with wedge settings while surfing. Noticed when boat fully loaded inc PnP sacks and surfing at 10.7 - the wedge sensor starts to bounce around a bit between 2-3 when I set to 2.  Almost like it is in a half position. I have to select 4 to go up one notch as 3 becomes unstable.

is this typical?

works like a charm on 1 setting which is where we typically leave it as boat struggles with m5 and standard prop beyond 2 and wave is perfect. Thx

I have similar situation. Also, is wedge setting icon supposed to be completely filled in when deployed? Not sure how to explain, but when in “STOW” position the icon is fully colored in. When I click a wedge setting some of it is filled in but some of it is transparent. Does that make sense?

I have something similar with my A22.  We really like to wakeboard at a 3.  If I click right to a 3, it goes to 3.5.  Need to go to a solid 4 and then down to a 3 to make it work.  I think there is a lot more nuance to the wedge than most expect (or that Malibu advertises).  One weird thing for me is I've tested the Launch setting vs starting at a 1 to get on plane.  At least for me the 1 is faster.  Note, this being getting on plane and up to wakeboard speed.  Strange.
