More Surf Board Rack Space

Skylon Skylocks are the way to go.  I might be accused of being biased because we are dealers of them but for the price and being able to put nice boards in them without fear of damage is the only real option for us.  We regularly have our demo boards on the boat and have 2 in each rack and 2 on the bimni.  We put our big bag in the front and can have 10+ boards on the boat with the cabin area being clear.  Would love to see Skylon as a option on a build.

If you are primarily a skim rider you can get away with bungee racks but even with the more durable style of surf style boards you have to be carful with bungees.

if you like quick-fix/DIY projects...my friend simply strung a couple ropes /bungees underneath the bimini from side to side -- then he slips in 2 surfboards above everyone's heads (weaving rope between fins so it doesn't shift at speed).  then he upgraded to a repurposed hockey stick...and how there is a nicer PVC pipe with foam around it.  dozens of ways to do it, but easily accomodates 2 boards out of the way.  may be worth toying with some rope to see if it may work.
