2004 Malibu Speedometer - Depth and Temperature

I have a 2004 Malibu DD and it has the speedometer with an LCD readout that I generally just use to display hours, but if you scroll through the options it show water temp and depth.  I found that there is a replacement paddle wheel that includes a temperature sensor, but what kind of transducer would this use to read depth?  Is there a standard transducer that plugs in to the computer that will then display depth on the Speedometer LCD?

My Transducer quit working and I used this to work a replacement Transducer.  Hope it is helpful to you to.

I had an 03 Malibu LSV, assuming it is the same Lowrance thru Hull unit, they no longer make them. I ended up putting on a non-thru hull, epoxy on design, it worked fantastic, but it did not connect to the Malibu interface, I installed a seperate guage.
