Long handled brush recommendations

Recommended Posts

My boat is now in the water at a slip for the summer. I have noticed other boats in the area get quite a bit of scummy buildup at the water line. I was thinking a long handled brush that I do around the boat once in a while would help that but I don’t want to get something that will damage the hull. Is there one out there that is “the one to get”?

Thank you,

Nate

Leaving the boat in the water for an extended period is very likely to cause blisters in the gel.  If it is metal flake, you can also get hazing in the clearcoat that is below the waterline.  You might want to pull it every two weeks, give it a bath, and let it dry out for a few days if possible.
