New A22. Where are the drains for the cockpit to the bilge?

Recommended Posts

Sorry new owner. If I take on water how does it drain to the bilge for the bilge pumps to remove. I thought there were drains by the transmission similar to a bathtubs. I see no easy path for the water to escape by seeping through the cover over the transmission. Did they forget to install the drains at the back? Anyone have a pic of their Axis drains for the cockpit??

To my knowledge Axis doesn’t put them on from the factory, at least our old 2019 T22 didn’t have any and I don’t recall seeing any other Axis with any. It’s standard on Malibu however.  That was one of the things I was excited about when we made the switch. I honestly never took water over the bow or anything so never had to deal with it on the water but with our old Axis I would just remove the transmission cover and park on a hill to make cleaning the boat with a hose a lot easier. Hope this helps!
