Surf system install question

So I finally got the gut to install my surf system but I have run into the issue that my boat has a full wrap. And where the tabs are to be installed there is wrap. So my question is has anyone installed tabs over an existing wrap?

My boat is wrapped. I would have no issue doing it. What’s your hesitation?

Just trying to make sure it seals properly and it doesn’t mess up the wrap by drilling through it and mounting. I haven’t seen anyone else do it so that’s why I was worried

Got cha. I took off all the hardware on ours before it was wrapped and reinstalled after with no ill effects. I even use a wake shaper suction cup device on it, was worried it would cause a bubble or something…. Nothing. Post some pics of your project, sounds cool.

I don't see any issue.  Use some silicone between the mounting plate and the hull, including filling the pre-drilled holes with it.  That marine silicone is pretty sticky and I can't imagine it wouldn't create a seal on your wrap.
