high pitched whistle in tower speakers

We own a 2016 wakesetter 23 LSV and after putting in new batteries in the boat the tower speakers have a high pitched whistle in tower speakers only (4 tower speakers). Could getting new batteries cause this? Also switched from starting power batteries to deep cycle.

I'm guessing you're getting amp whine?  I'm assuming this happens when the engine is on and the pitch is in sync with boat acceleration?  you can try a ground loop noise isolator if that's the case--plug it in the tower amp.

If it didn't do it before, and it does it now, I'd quadruple check your battery connections to make sure cables are clean and tight.  and then go through the power and ground wires feeding your amp(s) to confirm the same.
