2018 23 LSV ideal lift cable locations

My boathouse is getting wrapped up soon and the contractor is trying to determine the ideal location for the cables, especially for the rear pick up point.  This will be a stringer style lift with a rear cables that are ideally close to the centroid of the heaviest part of the back of the boat.  Looked on the Malibu site and they had lifting info, but no boat specific info

the slip is 28’ so I can adjust the cable locations some to suit the boat and the pile locations and still be fully covered, so that is  what I am trying to do

Anyone have a way to find this information?

thanks

Is your contractor designing and building the lift, or was the lift designed for the load by an engineer?  Generally, the lift cable points are specified by the lift.

The bunks on the lift should be centered under the CG of the boat, which is probably a foot or two forward of where the axles would be if it were on a trailer.
