Anyone Know what this is?

Recommended Posts

The other day after boating all day I removed the small round hatch on the floor to help dry out any residual water that leaked in the belly of the boat.  This is something I always do when going through my post boating operations.  On this occasion I found this plastic cover looking device with a small screw and washer.  I have no idea what it is or where it goes.     IMG_0557.thumb.jpeg.5ad3280dda28485a8000ea6663743246.jpegIMG_0558.thumb.jpeg.adb83a3fee68d1962516dcbe71b34007.jpeg

Great,  Boat is now in storage, but when I return I will check out where my amp is located.  Thank you.

I was pulling the center drain plug this weekend and also found the exact same thing in my boat as well. I am not sure why it would be located in there?

There’s a hole where wires are run between the power box under the observer’s seat and other parts of the boat. The fuse block is inside the power box. The hole is big enough that if the lid comes off of the fuse block it could fall in the hole. If it does fall in the hole, it will end up in the center bilge.
