2001 LS-1 dual transmission/oil cooler

Recommended Posts

Greetings -

The lake I have my boat stored at still get's freezing temps on occasion.  As a result, I do the draining of the heat exchanger, manifolds, and dual transmission/oil cooler after each outing.

The issue is that to drain the transmission/oil cooler i remove the 1 1/4" hose, and it being a soft copper, the outlet tends to have gotten a bit bent up.  I do skidim's trick w/ a socket to help straighten it, but at some point I feel I'll have to replace the entire unit.

Has anyone had success in identifying the correct part number and source?

Thanks!

Can you switch to removing the other end of the hose (at the raw water pump) instead of the cooler?
