V-Drive oil pressure alarm

Recommended Posts

I have a 2004 Malibu sunscape with a walters v drive. My oil pressure light was on and I determined it was a bad sending unit. I replaced the sending unit and now my light goes out but the actual alarm sound stays beeping. Any ideas?
Thanks

I have no other dash warnings. All gauges are reading properly. Engine oil is at appropriate level and fresh. Same with the vdrive and trans levels. The beep is not constant it is a 3 beep tone of sorts

The beeping may be the result of the depth alarm or an engine fault code.  Change the depth alarm by holding the LCD mode button for 3 seconds when the display is in depth mode.

Update

i believe it is the low oil pressure switch? The smaller of the two units near the oil filter. When I unplugged the wire, the beeping stops. Does anyone know a P/N for this? I can’t seem to find any info on the actual sensor/switch
