2015 VTX Drain Plugs

Recommended Posts

New owner here and just want to make sure I got all of the drain plugs in for launch.  I have one transom, one in the engine compartment and one in the ski locker.  Am I missing anything?  Are there any others on the outside/bottom of the hull?

Congrats on the new boat. That sounds like all the factory plugs. Another thing to check is the valve on the raw water intake. Make sure that is open, pretty sure your boat has one. It's on the starboard side floor by the v-drive. Sometimes it gets turned off for winterizing.

Also, if this is a new to you boat - make sure that the block plugs and v drive drain plugs are in and all the hoses are connected.  Some folks leave them out over the winter.
