FAE

I have a 2017 T23 with Floating wedge. I installed it last Friday, but the brackets just kind of never wanted to align properly. I would get the brackets to align, then once it started to tighten, it would pull up on the exhaust tube and start to pull away from the exhaust hole in the hull. However i needed it high enough to get over the wedge. so I had to add 3/8 nut spacers (they included these ps), and i have one bolt that's only like a thread or 2 past the actual nut. So once it tightened it would not pull away and it would not be centered. Anyone else seen this? I get its custom made so perfection may be a little tough. I would assume as long as everything is tight i would be fine.

Also i had enough anti seize on my hands by the end to paint a picture from loosening and re-tightening, so i probably have to loosen them up again and re-add that haha.

I suspect if the holes were a size larger where your double-nutted bolt goes through, you might be able to remove the 2nd center nut and things would align better.  The bracket may need to slide back (away from hull) to allow a better position of the pipe.  Your 2nd photo shows the pipe rotated slightly clockwise likely due to the bolt fitting directionally through the holes too tightly.  I am curious how this ends up as I have been considering FAE for my A20 with floating wedge.

On second thought,,, just now looked at the Fresh Air Exhaust website and they show the bracket reversed from your photo.  They may have welded a bad angle onto your pipe causing it to need something non-standard.  You might give them a call to confirm proper bracket orientation.
