Sound pack 3 — 12” sub?

I see that the recent model year axis boats come with a 12” sub with sound pack 3. Does anybody know the specific model sub and how it’s set up in the boats (I.e. free-air or sealed)?

I don’t think it’s too different than past years . I should get my boat in a week or so and I ordered sp3. I had sp2 on the past two boats . Different amps than sp2 but still not adjustable on

Soundpack 2 comes in either SP 2.2 or SP 2.4 depending on how many ICON8's you want. It comes with a HTX2 and a HTX6 with the 10" sub. Soundpack 3 comes with REV10'S in the same format, either SP 3.2 or SP 3.4, it comes with a SYN-DX2 and SYN-DX6 with a 12" sub. Both subs are free air. You will get 6 interior speakers with both soundpacks but SP2 has silver grills and SP3 has black grills.

Says it will work in 1.3ft3 box too... is there a way to get a box into the helm or does this require cutting the kick plate wall under the dash?

We ordered sp3 on ours. The grills are silver in cabin and black on the tower rev 10s.  It has a 12” free air sub. I have not brought the boat home yet so can’t comment on if a box will fit. My thoughts are having a sub box would make the sub sound better. I never have been a fan of free air subs.

The 12in sub in my 2021 A22 is far superior to the 10in one that came from the factory in my 2015. I believe it is still a free air sub. With that said, its not as good as the exile 12 in an enclosure that my 15 had when I sold it. I would venture for most guys its acceptable, but for anyone with marine audio or car audio back ground it leaves some to be desired.

Have you messed with it at all to assess upgrade options?

No. We waited so long just to get the boat we started using it hard. Only has it 8 weeks and then After Labor Day we left it with the dealer to start warranty work. Summer was a blur.
