2018 LSV 23 Retractable Ski Pylon Screw

Hi guys,

I have a 2018 LSV 23 with a retractable pylon. However the screw that holds it in position is somewhere lost in the engine bay. Tried to find it, tried to use a magnet, etc and no luck so far. I'll be able to find it once the boat is out of the water and it becomes easier to properly see where it can be.

In the meanwhile I need another screw, so I can use it. Does anyone know the measurements for that screw? Size, diameter and thread type?

Thanks,

Nuno

I have no idea what size you need, but if it has a hex head or a socket head, you should be able to figure it out by the size tool you used to loosen it.

Just guessing, but 1/4" is probably too small for that application.  5/16" or 3/8" are probably good candidates.  Anything larger is probably too big.  I would also assume coarse thread.
