My 2021 Malibu Boats Annual Report and Proxy arrived in the mail today.

https://s22.q4cdn.com/332374443/files/doc_financials/2021/ar/Final-Annual-Report-2021.pdf

There are a couple of references in these documents that “retail prices of our Malibu and Axis boats typically range from $65,000 to $215,000.”

In the annual report on page 7, it states retail price range for Malibu is $65,000 to $215,000.

And for Axis, the retail price range is $70,000 - $120,000.

Any advice on how and where I can get a new Malibu Response for $65,000?
Isn’t “Retail” for a Response like $90,000 ?

Malibu has 12 boat models.  And none go for $65,000.

Isn’t retail what they actually sell for? A base response would be in about that range after % off msrp. In 2018 I was quoted a fairly well optioned response at about 75k. It was the open edition, flake, tower, tower speakers, wedge, bimini and a few other things so yes I could see a response selling for 65k. Have you talked with your dealer?

Thanks for the response….  About the Response !
Thanks AhopkinsVTX.

And I appreciate the clarification between RETAIL vs. MSRP.

$75,000 for everything you described is OUTSTANDING.

Keep in mind that it was four years so. Pricing has gone up but I still feel you could get into a decent response at that price. Probably no tower and no flake but it would be a very solid ski tug.
