2022 25LSV Flip up bow seat/windblock - option or standard?

Recommended Posts

For those that have purchased or are looking onto the new 25LSV, can anyone confirm whether the flip up bow seat/windblock shown on the Malibu photoshoot boat is standard or an option?  I checked with our dealer today and they were uncertain - found a "premium" seating option of some sort with a retail of $3200 but its hard to imagine a hinged seatback like the port and starboard wakeview seats would fetch that kind of price tag.  Would appreciate any intel or build sheet info from others that have gone through the build process already as it may take a bit to get info from the regional Malibu rep.

Yes it is an option. If you opt out it still gives you the cushion. Take that cushion and mount it to the wind block and you have yourself a poor mans bow seat.

Thanks for the info crew.  Anyone have pictures from the back side of the std. cushion and flip up?  What is underneath when you remove the cushion or flip it up if you choose the option.  $3200 still seems nuts as an option - that is approaching the pricing for the wakeview bench seat.

It’s amazing. It’s one of the reasons I picked the Malibu over the paragon.  Standard on the m240 I just got.  It’s unreal the prices of everything in a boat. After all I think my stereo system was close to $20,000 which is more than a high end Macintosh home system

I cringe every time I look at the suggested retail prices on these options.   :(

I went for it as the kids like to sit up front.  It gives you a nice comfortable set up to have three sitting forward in bow.  It has some height adjustability for the backrest.  I was told the plexiglass insert will be included also.

It’s called a Natalie seat. Pricing I got was for 2,400 but passed.

Seems cool but not for that price especially since my kids can’t sit the same spot for more than a few minutes

@BarliBearThanks for the info.  Saw your pics on the 2022 forum.  Beautiful build - zephyr blue?  We are considering similar exterior with Nassau Blue metallic above the rubrail and all white below.  If you have a chance and don't mind, could you post some pics of the standard walkthrough cushion removed.  What lies beneath/how is it finished?  Really like the feature of the flip up seat, especially for the dual purpose as wind block and not having to store separate plexi panel and remove/replace for access to bow, but the price as an option is pretty steep.
