Who Can Guess my Shaft Size? Thoughts on Flex Gland

I have neglected my dripping shaft seal for too long... its time to dry out that bilge.

Good Morning Crew, I have an '87 Sunsetter. I am planning to replace the old-school rope/packing seal with the Flex Gland Shaft Seal setup...    https://skidim.com/flex-gland-system-1.html Does anybody have experience with these? Are they as good as they look?

Also, a bit of square windshield trivia... does anybody know the prop shaft diameter on an '87 Sunsetter? It would be cool to get it ordered before the next time I will be able to take an actual measurement.

Square windshield Malibu trivia is my game!    You're 87' will have a 1" prop shaft.  I need to do that same mod to my boat...been on the list for too long!
