2022 rear ballast pump time out issues

Breaking in my 2022 VTX and once the rear hard tanks are full you have to hit the fill button about 30 times for the pnp bags to fill.  The pumps will only stay on for about 20 seconds.  In total it takes about 20min to completely fill the pnp bags, super annoying!  At my 10hr service today, my dealer said that Malibu knows about the issue and they are working on a solution 🙄.  Anyone else have this issue and have found the fix?  Seems like it’s a software issue?

In setting and then I think configuration, make sure the correct boat model is selected. The bigger boats have hard tanks that go up the side of the hill so it essentially measures the plug and play bag level too. Vtx does not and in ours you still have to restart them but it is only 2-3 times.

Bingo, that was the problem and now they work as they should!  Funny my dealer or “Malibu” didn’t check that or know to check that…. Should be part of their dealer setup checklist.  My dealer, they shouldn’t be…

Should for sure be part of the setup and verification. Luckily it is easy to change and then your on your way. Unfortunately little things like that can be missed. I am glad to hear that is all it was :)
