2011 Tower Lights

There is an optional fused double relay harness from Malibu that connects to the power module power cable, to the ground buss bar, to the tower light harness, and to the labeled weather pack connector under the helm in the dash harness.  Of course, you could make your own harness, fuse, and relay wiring as well.

On the dash viper harness there is a white wire and a white with black stripe wire with female bullet connectors on the ends that are loose and not connected to anything.  Those are the ground trigger wires from the touch screen for the tower lights.  Those wires can be connected to a relay harness like p/n 3910553 from Malibu, or you can make your own harness with relays.  The relays are then connected to the helm power cable with fused wires.  The relays would then get wired to the tower light power connection and the ground connection would go to the helm buss bar.

When the tower light icons on the touch screen are selected the wires from the viper harness will provide a ground to energize the relays.  So, if everything is wired correctly the lights will turn on using the touch screen.  You may need a strong understanding of how relays work to wire the four circuits properly.

Do you by chance have any pictures of what this ended up looking like? Looking to do this on my 14 vlx.
