Bimini hardware question

As I am looking through all the stuff that came with my bimini, I noticed an issue - something seems to be missing.

On the pieces that mount to the tower to capture the rods there are u shaped plastic bushings that make the rod end fit tightly.  The connectors at the Y on the rear bar do not have anything like this and slop rotationally in their brackets.  I'd assume that this will make a ton of noise and there should be u-shaped bushings in those as well.  Assuming I get the other issues resolved it looks like I'll have to take everything apart anyways since most of the ends are loose and seem to need more than just the set screws to hold them on the rear bar.

Question - do folks normally see some sort of a bushing at the location in the top picture?

I would, since it would drive me crazy but it depends how often you'll have to move it, as I'd undoubtedly lose the bushing trying to adjust it on the water.

Shouldn't ever have to remove the screws that wind up holding the bushing in.  There is no adjustment once things are connected to what they need to connect to,  The mating pieces quick connect to their brackets.  I'm more wondering if Bakes left something out that I need to talk to them about along with the other issues.
