Decal Peeling what glue to use?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

The decal on my 08 Wakesetter VTX 20 is starting to have some peeling. I was hoping to repair it but wasn't sure what the best glue might be that wouldn't hurt the gelcoat. I found some 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant Fast Cure on amazon. It is cheap so I am just going to order it for now but if anyone else has any suggestions I am all ears!

I think I would try 3m doublestick auto trim tape.  That adhesive sealant is more for sealing things that go through holes in the boat.

Or just take the decals off ;)
