Rough Idle, not planning 1998 Sunsetter VLX

I recently had an issue with my 1998 Sunsetter VLX having a rough idle and not planning with full ballast. It turned out to be 2 bad injectors. Oddly it would plane off and run down the lake fine with no ballast. After changing the following sensors: Knock, Idle Air Control (IAC), Throttle position sensor. I checked the fuel pressure, changed the plugs, cap and rotor, distributor, and wires. I eventually found the problem by disconnecting the wires to the injector and seeing if the engine changed/stumbled. There was difference in how the engine ran with the good injectors, obviously the bad ones had no change. If you are wondering the correct fuel injector is for a 94-97 Buick Cadillac 5.7 GM. There are other injectors that look identical, and will fit, but trust me they are not.  I bought mine on Ebay, it was a remanufactured injector. I did clean all of the injectors while I had the rail apart, one was dirty. I used a "HonsCreat Universal Auto Car Fuel Injector Nozzle Flush Cleaner Adapter DIY Cleaning Tool Kit Set" bought on Amazon to clean the injectors. I hope this helps!

Nice one! Glad you got it figured out. One other thing I would say to replace is your fuel lines. After a while they start to breakdown and that ends up in your injectors. That could be the source of your clogged injector. Either way, they are short enough and super easy to replace. Good work!
