2013 A22 windshield removal

I was driving down the freeway yesterday to get the the river when I hit a construction zone. A few rocks hit my windshield of my truck but didn’t think anything of it. When I got to the river to look over the boat and get er ready to ride I noticed my driver side windshield was shattered. Luckily the tint kept it from shattering all over the inside of the boat. Guessing one of those rocks that missed my truck must have hit the windshield.

I’ve got my order in for a new windshield but I’m looking for any feedback/tutorials for removing and installing a new windshield. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are botls that go down through the fiberglass at the base of the windshield. You want to go in through the kick panel under the dash and look up to where the base of the windshield is. Remove the nuts. Most of them are actually easy. The hard ones are the ones that are along the side of the boat all the way at the edge of the windshield base.

Too bad you're not needing a passenger windshield, I have one in my crawlspace lol

So I haven’t received my new windshield yet but I took some downtime and took the old one out. My question is does the new windshield come with the outer trim piece? The piece that sits more on the side of the boat with the 2 mounting bolts? I had a hell of a time separating the glass from this piece and ended up cracking the top of it…
