Patiently waiting for news on our 25LSV.  Last word was spray date 1-31.  Hoping for late Feb, early March arrival.  Good to see things are still moving at the factory.  I was worried we would see a slowdown with recent surge of Covid.

Mine started the build yesterday on a 24 mxz. Surfed this forum to see if anyone had any way of seeing build pics or progress (factory webcam?). Dealer says everything on track and looking good! So excited to get it, could not wait for it to be done before seeing pics!

Just curious, when did you order?  I was told mine would go into production mid January, but it hasn't yet.  Makes me nervous...

Unfortunately order date and build date are not necessarily correlated.  It depends on the dealer's build slots, and the order the dealer chooses for their boats to be built.  I ordered in October, but my dealer was already holding one of his January slots for me.  It got pushed to Feb 2nd, so hopefully it is being built now.

Ordered a 23LSV Sept 20 and just recently got told my build date is Feb 10th

Great info, thank you!  I spoke with the dealer yesterday and they said it should be here in April.  fingers crossed!  They told me once they go into production they only take a week to build.  That doesn't seem right to me, seems way to quick, but I'm not a boat builder...

Started working w dealer in late summer. They held a build spot for me.  Spray date Jan 25th.  dealer said it would take only a week.  Did not believe them....but guess what was delivered yesterday!

The simple reason is because this website is a User Supported site. We don't allow advertising so there's no advertising dollars to help with the bills. Hosting pictures on the site costs us $$ to store them. Linking pics in doesn't. 

User Supporters (<Link) help to carry the financial load and not have to deal with popup advertising on these pages. Supporters can add pics right into the post amoung other perks.

Thanks! Getting closer to go time. I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out. There is white metallic, above the rub rail, that is pretty subtle, unfortunately, pictures don’t quite capture the detail.

Our 25 showed up at the dealer a week ago today.  I went there Saturday to see it, inspect it, and close on the deal.  I've never seen dark blue flake up close and now that I have, I really like it.

The boat hasn't been detailed.  The dealer sent these pics after receiving it and installing the accessories that ship loose with the boat.  There are a couple of spots on the gel that are not good and should have never left the factory the way it did. There's an imperfection in the blue fake near the cup holders on the port side deck near the transom. It's about the size of a silver dollar. Not big, but big enough to see and I'm hopeful they can make it right. There are also some other small gouges through the gel in the cabin, but you wouldn't notice them until you remove the small bow fill cushion and deploy the wakeview bench seat.

Speaking of the small bow cushion, Malibu put a drain in that location under the seat. I think that's a great idea. Our 23 always got pretty wet up there and there was nowhere for the water to drain. This should really help that condition. While we didn't get the "natalie seat" in the bow that folds up, I do think there's a simple mod to the wind screen that could be done to make it function like the factory seat. All said, I'm not disappointed that we didn't check that box.

We did get heated seats, power lift helm, 5 outlet heater, both forward and aft facing wakeview seating on the port side, underwater LED, M6, docking lights (Must have for us), Rev8's, and all the other normal standard issue options. I think it turned out pretty good. It wasn't my first personal choice of gel schemes, but it looks good. This pattern was #2 on our girls top 5 boats I designed, so since it was common between them I chose it over some of the others they had picked that I don't think would have as large of a market interest as this one may.

One thing that is a drag, the wireless charges I ordered did not come installed in the boat. There are supposed to be 3 of them. 1 at the helm where the phone mount is, in the gunwale cubby by the throttle, and one in the glove box. The dealer said Malibu is shipping boats without that option and having dealers install them later due to supply chain constraints. While bothersome, it's not a show stopper and I'm hoping that they get to the dealer by the time I have my 10-hour service, which should be sometime in early May. We used the phone holder wireless charger regularly in our 23.  While it wasn't the fastest charge, it kept the phone alive for an entire day on the water.  The others were kind of a joke because the phone never stayed where you put it when underway.  I've seen mods to resolve that problem, but having not seen what they look like installed on a 2022, I don't know if Malibu solved that problem or not.

Transom seating is pretty sweet. They're comfortable when deployed, easy to deploy and stow, and there's storage under the pad where you but sits. The hinge mechanism on the back rest that moves vertically seems to be of better quality than the one that moves horizontally, but it does seem to be decent. Like the wakeview bench, there's some slop in the sliding mechanism, but if you pull it from the middle and push it from the middle it doesn't move laterally. Otherwise it can bind up slightly. Not a big deal, but something you need to get used to.

It seems like the quality of installation on the soft grip is better than our 23.  We had bubbles in the 23 that were obvious.  We also had it peel up in several locations.  I'm hopeful that we don't have the same experience on this one.  Another improvement that I'm happy about is the change to the wakeview seating hinges.  We checked the box for the forward facing wakeview seat as well as the rear facing seat.  The pinch pins to lower the seats have been replaced by a mechanism that works more like MC or Nautique.  You raise them and stop the movement after you hear the 3rd click and they stay in place.  Raise them beyond that and they release so you can lower them.  I hated the pinch pins and my better half will be happy to see they're gone. 

I'm planning on getting the windshield tinted.  I'm thinking 20% at the moment.  It should be adequate.

I haven't made time to post yet, but figured I'd get in on the fun.  Here is our 25LSV build.  My wife built this first time through on the builder, and I didn't make a change (other than the blue arch hoop).  Spray date TBD
