2021 23 LSV Surf Setup Recommendations

We recently took delivery of our 2021 23 LSV and are having trouble getting the surf wave dialed in. We have all the hard ballast tanks and PNP in the back. We currently have been filling the center, rear, and PNP tanks to 100% and the front to ~90%. Power Wedge is set at 3 and speed 11.2 mph. The wave seems to have the push, but it has a lot of whitewash at the top of the wave compared to our 2015 22 VLX. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I find that the settings we use differ based on crew size and weight.  Another thing, perhaps dump some rear ballast and fill the front 100%.  Reduce the ballast on the non-surf side by approximately 25% relative to the surf side.  If your wave is washed out, increase the speed.  Again, depending on crew size, rider size and weight, we vary considerably.  Low crew weight and a younger, lighter rider, we run 50% on the surf side, 25% on the non-surf side, wedge 2, 10/8-11.2 and get a great wave for the younger ones with all front ballast and midship ballast full 100%.  For our adults, or larger riders, we increase the rear ballast and find 11.6-11.8 to work very well.  Regular surfing requires some other tweaking because the wave simply isn't as good due to the prop rotation.   There's no one size fits all for a surf setting.  Find what works, save a rider preset, and adjust from there based on crew size.

As @Slayer gave some good pointers, I have found that reducing starboard rear to 75-80% has produced some of the best waves for my '21 23 LSV.  This allows us to have a clean wave on both sides.  We run around 11 mph.

Thanks, @Slayer! We bumped up the speed to around ~11.7 and filled the front to 100%. We Had 3 adults (including the driver) and one surfing. We put one person in the spotter seat and moved the third person to whatever side we were surfing. This created an awesome long clean wave.
