2019 Axis A22 Fault Codes

Hey everyone, 

 

I am receiving two inactive fault codes on my 2019 Axis A22 and hoping someone can help me understand what the codes are:

 

SPN 653

FMI 5

----------

SPN 654

FMI 5

Those fault codes indicate an open or low side short to ground on the fuel injector coil circuit for cylinder 3 and 4.  It can be caused by a problem with the ECM, fuel injector, connections or wiring, or even something simple like a loose ground cable between the battery and the engine.

I would check your battery cable connections at the battery and on the engine first and if you have a running issue or active fault alarm take it to your dealer for further diagnosis and repair.
