Rotary steering?

I have a 2002 Response LX, steering is becoming very difficult. Current cable is a Seastar SSC13415. I know this is at least the third steering cable on this boat. Local marine supply store suggested replacing current cable setup with Fourtech rotary system. Based on their recommendation and my desire to avoid fighting the rod end of the cable through the small hole in floor (previous owner told me it was a nightmare) I went with the Fourtech rotary option. Any advice or suggestions before I start the switch?
