Ugh hatch damage

Recommended Posts

Pulled out of the garage with a hatch open today.  It hit the back side of the open garage door, bent the crap out of the hinge and definitely damaged whatever the hinge attaches to on the panel.  Luckily no damage that will be noticable to the new garage door.  So I guess I will have a project after the weekend.

Put in my request to Gabe this morning for an upholstery quote too.  This summer the plastic like grid vinyl has completely given up.

Ugghh is right.  I hate it when that happens.  Hopefully you can get it looking good again.  Also a bonus that you didn't wreck the new door.

I have taken out two rollup shop doors with the towers. :Frustrated:

Now the door goes up all the way.

Luckily no boat damage either time. And a few wrenches and a sledge hammer made the doors usable.

Did this years ago to My Sanger DLX ski locker doors. Had to have the garage door widened for the boat,so needed to paint the new door. Thought it would be better to take the boat out to paint the door vs a tarp over the bow. Both locker doors caught the header.  Boat had less than 10 hours on it.  Good times!
